is the largest and the most complete ancient
city wall presently in China, and is probably
the best ancient military battlement in
the world. Built in 1374-1379 and still
well preserved, the rectangular city wall
has a circumference of 14 kilometers, and
is 12metres high, 15-18 meters wide at the
base and 12-14 meters wide at the top. The

wall has become a recreational park, consisting
